JOHN AXTELL is the Managing Member of the General Partner and Investment Advisor, From November 2013 to February 2025 Mr. Axtell was employed by GOLDMAN SACHS. At Goldman he was the managing director of Stable Value Management, a unique conservative fixed income strategy used primarily in defined contribution retirement plans. Mr. Axtell’s primary responsibility was to advise large institutional clients on the development and implementation of their stable value fund strategy. Mr. Axtell was also involved in negotiating the “wrap contacts” issued over the counter by insurance companies and banks used in their stable value funds to maintain a stable net asset value.
In 1985 Mr. Axtell was awarded a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University. In May 1989 he was awarded a Masters of Business Administration by the University of Michigan. He is FINRA Series 3 (Commodity Futures), FINRA Series 7 (General Securities Representative), FINRA Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law), and FINRA Series 65 (Uniform Investment Advisor Law) license examination qualified.
